The gig we played last night. Although the crappy amp I was using decided to switch channels randomly (which combined with my Boss pedal resulted in some very nasty sounds) it was a good gig, and a good night!
First time we've played a gig that I didn't need to drive to so I could appreciate all the free beer :D

Anselmo's a nasty piece of work. What's he playing at by encouraging a mob? If the kid threw something then he's a prat for it but who says he did? Anselmo, a few drunken morons in the crowd?

By all means throw the kid out but what Anselmo did is just as pathetic. His bandmate grabbing the kid is no better. Two big men in their forties standing over and humiliating a schoolkid for getting a bit rowdy.

If I was that boy's parents the club would be in all sorts of trouble. Where was security?

Pathetic.

I think the kid totally deserved it...

That band are there performing for the crowd...they didn't have to come but they did. To throw anything at anyone playing live is just plain disrespectful, even if your not a fan of the band. They are there to entertain you, not to be disrespected and humiliated by you.

The kid showed the band disrespect, so in turn the band showed the kid disrespect...I bet he'll think twice about throwing shit at bands again.

And I dont think it wouldnt have made a difference if it wasnt a kid....Phil didnt know who threw the beer until the crowd got him to the front.

And as I said he handled it a LOT better than he has in the past

Idiots like that just need ejecting from the venue and barring from future gigs.

Like I said, who says it was the boy and not the pissed-up bloke next to him thinking it'll be funny to blame the lad? Security should have thrown him out and that be the end of it. Poor sod.

Thats Pathetic!

But in the way that they both act the Kid and Anselmo i think the Kid is a plant, i.e planted there in the crowd for them to pull up on stage and look hard to all there redneck fans! Shit band anyway.

Ahhh ok I see your point now, theres no way of Phil knowing 100% if it was the kid...

Yeah, he shouldnt have done that unless he was 100% certain

See above.

Also, a friend of mine from secondary school, who was very much influenced by her preppy friends has turned really metal, and may actually be at Bloodstock '08

Playing my first organised football for the thick end of four years. Never mind the weather, bloody enjoyed that. Ten-minute 5-a-side games in a knockout tournament, we lost our group with just the one win. Didn't realise how unfit I am!

Oh, and not crashing in the snow.

Capped the night off with a pizza. :)
