Actually, I like the 'Saga of Darren Shan'. The Demonata books are dreadful.
i agree i dont like most of the books from his new collection
but the saga fucking rules
There's a hole in the world like a great black pit
and it's filled with people who are filled with shit!
And the vermin of the world inhabit it!

I'm currently reading Stephan King's Pet Semetary. I'm only a third of the way in and it's giving me the creeps. Naturally I had a nightmare last night (first time in years) as well. Knowing my luck, I'll be reading it tonight and we'll get a thunderstorm.
Bloody good read though, i'm going to look out for more Stephen King in the charity shops and car boot sales once I've finished. Just got a couple more I got given for Christmas to finish (Carrie and Misery).

Finished 1984 the other day after it having been neglected for a couple of weeks in favour of the new Xbox, then quickly got Richard Hammond's autobiography out of the way (a rather unwanted Christmas present, worrying sometimes how little my parents know me... ), now reading Charlie Brooker's Dawn Of The Dumb, which I know full well is going to be awesome.

DUDE. I got Nightwatch for christmas, I need the other books now.
I saw the film as well... Pretty short, compared to the book, only about a third of it, but it's got some cool moments.

I recently enjoyed Heart Shaped Box by Joe Hill. I'm currently reading Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. Favourite book might be Mort by the former, also love The Sandman by the latter. I can't be the only one who reads comic books/graphic novels here can I? I like the manga Death Note too.

I've been reading Peter Kay's Sound Of Laughter, though I've not picked it up in a while. I'm dyslexic so it takes me years to get through books. It's pretty damn funny though, had me laughing out loud a few times.
