I'm also curious about this, except I already bought in on the Steam sale for £3.50 but haven't installed it yet.

It is the game is really really fun.
It gets a bit repeditive but it's still worth getting for 3.50

I recommend going onto this site and getting some mods when you get bored with it, you can almost simulate being a super saiyan.

By the way does anyone want a free copy of sol survivor on steam? I just noticed i have a few copies of the game to give away.

Do you like fun and making shit blow up?

If so, buy it.

Grappling hooks, parachutes, blowing shit up being part of completing the game.

It's just genuinely ridiculously fun.

The game sells itself as this a lot, but it's more like 'Hide behind buildings because you'll never beat the army all guns blazing'. I found it overrating how much fun you could have playing it. It's no Saints Row 2.

Why fight the army when you can just grapple onto a jet, crash it into a petrol station, parachute off and kill some civilians.

Because it never actually worked like that.

It did for me.

Many hours were wasted in my mates living room passing the controller around and seeing who can dick around the most.

it is absolutely worth getting. there is one bad thing about this game though, the map is so big it takes forever to get anywhere

I like the size of the map in a way. It's very pretty, especially in the snowy mountains. The only thing that is bad about the size is that there is no in game radio or anything. It's tedious driving around fairly small sandboxes in GTA if you're in a Police Car. Driving around Panau without a decent soundtrack for your journey is awful. Yes you can put some music on from your own collection, but that kills immersion.
