i had completly forgotten how much fun halo 3 is online

I was killer at that back in the day. It's the only game I got in early with and played the public beta, so I was already pretty good when it was released, and then I played hours a day after school, every day without fail. Somewhat let my skills slip since then though, haven't even played a game on my xbox in months.

I used to play Halo quite a bit.

As long as you don't plug your headset in and hear the little prepubescent kiddies shrieking trash talk in their breaking voices, that is. I love Halo 3, it's an awesome multiplayer game, but the kids on the public servers are a bunch of annoying prats.

Haha I do that, stick the laptop on as well and blast some tunes while I'm at it. I've played it loads this summer (before I got hooked on Arkham Asylum), Halo is a great little game, I don't get why people bash it so much, sure campaign sucks a bit but it's all about the multiplayer, which is just a simple, fun, unpretentious frag fest that works a hell of a lot better than some fps' out there.

On a side note, anyone played the demo of Section 8 yet? Didn't think much of it at all tbh.

Hehe yeah I also have that setting on which mutes anyone not on my friend list. It was actually after playing Halo online for the first time that I activated that setting

Got WotLK and C&C3:Kane's Wrath today. I mainly got C&C because it was cheap, but Tiberium Wars was good so I assume this is more of the same.

The weekly maintanance was extended from 11:00Am to 5:30Pm, and then the webstites maintanance was extended to an undisclosed period of time. When it got to half six-ish I assumed they had all packed up and gone home and given up on making it work
Hopefully it'll work today.
