I know! To be fair, she'd not had much to eat today. But then proceeded to blame me for getting her drunk for the next 3 hours (even though her next drink - a TREBLE vodka and coke - was her own choice ). Good times

What a waste of my tax pounds. Please let them be drug dealers- at least they'll kill each other off and I won't have to support them for the rest of my working life

My mum keeps trying to throw out an old frying pan by putting it in the recycling bin. Every time they empty it, they put the bin back with the frying pan on top. Take the hint, mum

It's delicious irony that there are a significant ammount of people (as of York College several years ago) that spend EMA on said drugs.
EMA is the only part of these reforms that I actualy mostly agree with getting rid of. Preferably it would be restructuring rather than abolition, but still.

It used to really annoy me when I was in sixth form/college, as I never qualified for EMA and had to work part-time for my pocket money, sure my parents lent me cash if it was school related, but if I wanted to go to the pub or buy a dvd I had to use the money I'd earned at work.
So many other people at college used to get education-related cash from their parents and use EMA as an excuse to not work. Pissed me right off.

Re: What made you Lol Today?
While I mostly agree, I did know people who actually needed their EMA to buy food and other relatively important things.
