However it's relatively apparent that whilst agreeing against a relationship, they aren't keen on the idea of me being with the other one

Thoughts?

One more thing, I have solid but private reasons as to why I'd rather not enter a full relationship with either of them

Apologies if this makes me sound like a fucking prick, but something's been bugging me.

I'm really happy with my girlfriend, when we're together it's awesome. But, when we're apart, I can't help looking at other girls. I think it's just because I'm not used to having someone, but it's starting to really bug me how much I look at (and think about) them..
Anyone else had this, or similar? Really hoping it stops soon, I've been trying but every now and again, someone else will pop into my mind :S

Cool. I guess it's just because I'm not used to being with someone, and some of my female friends (the ones I think about) I used to be quite close with (I say used to because I've not seen them in a couple of months, and when I see them next we won't exactly be cuddled up watching a dvd or anything like that), so I'm used to thinking of them in that way.. if that makes sense?
Obviously, when I'm with my girlfriend, she's the only one on my mind and any girl that walks past is nothing compared to her.. I dunno, just feel like I'm being unfair to her I guess.

Craig, I think what you're experiencing is quite normal, especially in the beginning. After nearly 5 years in a relationship, and with no doubt that Rich is very much the one I want to spend my life with (sorry, cheesy alert!), I can honestly say that I still look at other people - only at girls, because I am a bit of a pervert. I never look at them to compare, mind, but I just like looking. For some reason I don't really find other guys attractive as such - they can still be good looking, but I'm not at all attracted to them. Quite often me and Rich will look at people together tbh. As long as you're not planning on taking action, it's all good I'd say

In terms of looking on your own, yeah, I do the same - it's never a comparison, there's not really any space to compare, James is my world, and I just like to appreciate other good-looking people. It's not an uncommon thing to look at other people and find them attractive, and unless you're pursuing something with these girls, simply looking never hurt anyone.

Me: Dat arse.
R: Where?
Me: 12 o'clock.
R: Can't see her, Moo.
Me: Oh, never mind. You missed it.

Or

Me: Dat arse.
R: Don't like her face.
Me: But her arse is nice.
R: Yeah, but yours is nicer.
Me: Noh.

Or, it will be something along the lines of "I'D LIKE TO FILL HER VOID, LOLOL"
