Just finished reading Stephen King's The Dark Tower series, that ending...

I'm also now slightly freaked out by the fact that the bus I get to work every day is the number 19

Ha excellent! After reading them they were only thing I could think about for around a week afterwards.

On a seperate note just finished the Lovely Bones- which was brilliant and now onto The Lord of the Flies which I'm halfway through only having started it on the tube this morning.

Just started reading Odd Thomas by Dean Koontz.

Then Dee Snider's autobiography turned up in the post and now I don't know whether to jump straight into that instead.

Fuck it. I'll do both.

Just finished Brandon Sanderson's Steelheart. Not as good as his other works but still enjoyable.

Back to the Silmarillion for me!

The Silmarillion is about as tedious as reading The Old Testament...

Started re-reading lion of Macedon by David gemmell. This and dark prince are right up there in my favourite books, both as a pair and individually.

Two thirds of the way through 1984. The amount of listing in this book is ridiculous - there are lists with at least 9 or 10 words in them halfway through - normally describing some (almost ridiculous) overwhelming depressing totalitarian scenario.

Finished John Dies At The End, it was awesome.
Now a quarter of the way through the sequel - "This Book is Full of Spiders"

Funnily enough, that's not too dissimilar to something that's just happened in the book.
So far it's essentially about a sort-of zombie apocalypse brought on by invisible parasitic spiders.

At least the giant Aussie spiders are visible, and as far as I'm aware, incapable of taking over your body
