Just watched Raiders of the Living Dead and Let the Right One In.

RAIDERS OF THE LIVING DEAD
*sigh* Why do I watch this shite? Plot holes galore, awful acting and a laser gun made from a laserdisc player. Zombies can be taken down by the aforementioned laser gun or bow and arrow (but not bullets, no no).
According to the internets, the zombies were brought about by a mad scientist doing experiments on dead prison inmates (as you do), but this wasn't really confirmed in the film. In fact, not a great deal was.
2/10

LET THE RIGHT ONE IN
I wasn't quite sure what to make of this one. I liked it, it certainly held my attention for the duration and kept me wanting to know what happens next. But, it felt a little empty. I don't know.
Certainly one of the better vampire films of late.
Also quite disgusted by the amount of reviews on Lovefilm that have rated it low purely because it's in Swedish with English subs. I wasn't aware that things like that mattered.. Lazy fuckers.
7/10

Oh God, no.
The Day After Tomorrow Part II - This Time It's Sillier.

Saw The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus today. Was good, but weird, and Lily Cole looks like an alien and can't act. The different-actors bit was very well done though.

Also, as a fan of the original, the trailer for the Clash of the Titans remake looks awesome.

My thoughts exactly.
Although this time there shouldn't be any bullshit ending where everyone lives happily ever after.
So essentially, it looks like it'll be a good couple of hours spent watching a bunch of people putting off the inevitable, with a load of fantastic special effects being wasted in the meantime. Yaaay.
If you're gonna watch an end-of-the-world epic, at least find one with zombies or aliens in poorly animated space ships.

2012 is not Roland Emmerich's 3rd film, not by a long shot.
