She told me "I'm just not up for a relantionship right now" she then started going out with this guy I know three days later. So I'm back on the lookout, with nothing to look at since every girl I know seems to be a resident of friendsville :o

Ah, a kindred spirit. Let's meet up, drink, and moan about the other sex, and friend syndrome.

"I think we should meet up for a drink as friends which is all it would be."

Pre-emptive rejection. Ace. Good job I'm not interested in her or that might have hurt.

Ummmm It's not just gals that just want to be mates.

Guys that are interested in me lately sort of panick when they realise I like them too, decide that they are actually not ready for a relationship but would love to be my mate cos I am fun and one of the boys (not physically).
Damn it, confounded by my amazing taste in music and my love for moshing.

Oh well.
I you can never have enough mates, can you???

I'm currently single and can't for the life of me see it changing, given that I struggle meeting new people. :(

That wasn't the point. This was an MSN conversation on Xmas Eve with someone I know from Farcebook. I'm not in the slightest bit interested in her and found it amusing but a little bit disappointing that she was making it clear that she only wanted to be friends. I'm so amazingly awesome and special that I don't even have to ask before getting rejected.

So much of a friend in fact that I only hear from her when she's bored and drunk. She was blathering on about not wanting to be with anybody then starting going out with some lad hours later. I don't even try to understand your kind. :P

I stopped seeing the girl I'd been seeing for a few months the other day. Apparently she was into it but wasn't wanting to settle down properly yet, proper relationship style, so I stopped it. I'm not into being messed around anymore.

I remember being happy. It's been almost a year and it still hurts.

From the Donnas' "Little Boy":

You can try to figure me out
But you'll never know what girls are about
And all those things that I said yesterday
I didn't mean them anyway

It's a crackin' tune too.
