Nah, none proven, but I take my dad's word for it, being in the field he's in. He also said Freud's ideas on dreams have been largely debunked, which is kinda good knowing how politicised some of Freud's ideas have become.

Yeah, Freuds ideas as interesting as they are, are a bit dated in many respects now. I do love him though.
Ive always paid more attention to the neurobiological theories about dreaming than the psychoanalytical ones, but thats because my dreams make no fucking sense and have hardly any relevance to anything I do during the day. For other people its different I'm sure.
