This conversation which was reiterated to me earlier between my team leader and an office assistant asking about our team.

OA: Where's the girl who usually sits next to you?
TL: Which one?
OA: The posh-sounding one who sounds like she doesn't live here.
TL: Oh, Hobbit Botherer.
OA: Wha?
TL: She has hobbits, and therefore has no need of a regional accent.
OA: ........ *backs away*

I love working here

Though 'posh-sounding one who sounds like she doesn't live here' seems a slightly rude way to refer to someone who's not in the room. :/

Last night. Fucking hell. So much drama last night that involved some little (well, not actually little) attention whore who is so 'woe is me' it's ridiculous. She ended up storming off over a conversation about taxis. Fucking taxis. And the new bartenders at the pub down't road from where I live are brilliant.

Double vodka and diet Coke? Over half my glass was fucking vodka. And no they're not dodgy, the landlord and barstaff at present are all gay, 'coz Smithy is a really, really straight little village it'd seem. Also looked in the mirror recently and bloody hell. My hair. Pretty sure someone could live in it atm. xD

In the takeaway last night, some drunk bint got really pissed off because she got a plastic bag with her takeaway box in when she asked for no bag.

She stormed out of the building, bag in hand screaming "YE FOOKIN' BASTAAAARDS!"
