Watched a jingly try and leg it from some coppers today. I don't think they were the normal police but the ones who go specifically after illegals and stuff. They had pulled the little car over and it had about 10 of them in it and he was out of the car being talked to and just took off. The coppers were momentarily startled before the tubby one set off after him and the other jumped in the car and tried to run him over so to avoid getting ran over the jingly tried going over the little central reservation bit* of the road onto the other side but face planted. He didn't get away.

*Most roads in the cities here have a central reservation that seperates the opposite flows of traffic.

Third Country National such as a Bangladeshi. Jingly comes from the jingly trucks they often drive. I first had it explained to me by a jingly himself when I first got out here as a lot of the trucks would stop over on some wasteland by our compound.

I was helping out in assembly today. We were in pairs packing FSDUs and was working with the director, who then buggered off. One of the other lads kept pissing off leaving this new Polish lass doing the job on her own, so naturally, I stepped in. Because I'm genuinely helpful and it had nothing to do with white knighting.

Spent the rest of the afternoon having the piss taken out of me. Very nice looking mind, would have attempted conversation with her if I wasn't so socially challenged. Probably a smoker though, knowing her brothers, so no loss.
