Not at all. Selection bias reigns supreme, but among those I know or interact with online, the reaction has been massively more positive than negative with only a small few thinking it's a bad booking. I'd also say they're the perfect choice right now. Their popularity's at an all time high and their Wembley show generated quite a buzz. Now's the perfect time for them to be headlining Bloodstock to capitalize on that.

No surprises that amazon comments section are often a barrel of laughs, but I am looking for a cheap smaller monitor than my 32 incher for Insomnia festival. Obviously filter to one star reviews "Oh it looks cheap" bitch whine. Why do people even bother to breathe sometimes?

Fuck I have gamed for the last year on one of the old style sets with the big arse on it and the scart inputs. Any 1080p monitor is better than what I have had to put up with. Anyone got any suggestions for 22'' monitors. Had my eyes on a Samsung which was just over a tonne but alot of people reporting dead pixels (whatever they are when they're at home), A Toshiba that has the above reviews but comes with a DVD player which I don't need any more of. Looking to spend preferably under 120 smackers, 1080p preferred though 720 will do for it's primary use.

Samsung do make good quality screens. Dead pixels are when one of the individual ones is not responsive - either staying lit at it's colours (blue, red, green) or not working at all. Some find them annoying, some not. Make sure the response time is less than 1ms (the time it take a pixel to go from fully dark to fully lit) and you should be fine with most things for gaming.

I never thought I'd be saying this, but I'd be hard pushed to recommend anything other than a Dell monitor these days.

I've fairly good experience with LG displays, they seem to last ages.

I second this. Had my current one since 2009.

That comment can be read very diffferently than what was meant.

I have 3 LG TVs as I've upgraded over the years, 19", 32" and 47" - funnily the remotes all work with each other

Aye I was rather surprised by the Samsung monitor that was reviewed, I mean Samsung products aren't often that cheap so I did think it was a bit good to be true. Doesn't have to be a massive name, my 32 inch TV with staff discount and Jan sale picked up for about £112 which is bloody good going, think the make is Emotion and it has lasted me for at least 6 years. The minimal budget for this monitor represents I am not so bothered whether it lasts me more than say the weekend and everything else is a bonus. Ill look into LG. What's your 19" model? Put it on my butchers list on amazon, do a bit of window shopping in Comet when I am back.
