Yeah it really showed the generational difference when my auntie immediately assumed he meant Pepe le Pew and we had to explain Meme Magic to her.

Also this is my family from Chester so I'm sure they've known a few Pepes and other Liverpool-influenced names too. My aunt works at a school and she's come across 3 Rafaels/Rafas there

24hr garage on the way back from the pub, dickheads everywhere. Including the one particular dickhead who thought it OK to fuck about with my beard and pull my hair in the queue and then use the words "monkey" and "ISIS" whilst speaking to the black guy serving at the window which resulted in massive arguments and him not getting served for being a massive racist prick. He then argued with someone else in the queue, got lamped, walked back to his builders van, got into another fight, drove off whilst swinging past the kiosk twice deliberately trying to hit people then disappearing off into the night but not before people got plenty of pictures of his van and license plate.

On the plus side, the money he left at the kiosk after the argument more than paid for my night. so cheers racist whitevan man for the free money

Looking at houses in Belfast, decide to use Google Maps to find out if particular streets might be a bit too politically colourful for my tastes.

I drop into street view in the middle of the road and the first thing I see is a massive bit of graffiti that says "REMEMBER 1690 - NO SURRENDER!"
