I was at a concert at Citeh's Council House a few years ago. We were about fifty feet from the front and had been there since about 3pm. I got a bit dehydrated and had to leave the crowd in search of water. I fought my way back through the crowd and found my mates again. FTW.

On the other hand try to push past me if I'm near the front - good luck getting past my elbows.

This! Also if you ask really nicely 90% of blokes will let a shorter female through. The 10% who don't are those moody blokes who have their arms folded all night, who turn slowly to look at you, shake their head and turn back towards the stage.

Basically this. At Hellfest I had a couple of mates basically religiously following me to get good spots in the crowd. I don't push or shove, I'm polite and ask to be let through. A thanks and a smile and I'm sorted.
