Must just be me who drinks Fosters. All the more for me then, give me a can of cheap lager and a packet of crisps and I'm happy.

My brother drinks fosters, but I just can't for the life of me understand why.
Even our former local with it's very limited selection had at least 8 drinks that taste nicer, yet he always went for it.

Fosters is a beer for the people who cant handle drinking ordinary beer. My best mate drinks the stuff because he cannot be trusted on anything else.



This very same guy I read on his facebook that he was on the Stella the other night. I bet that was a rather interesting night for whoever he was drinking with.

This. I find it more drinkable than Budweiser and even Becks (but that's just me).

I'm not so struck on larger in general though. And it wasn't cheap at our pub.
£1.85 for a Dark Smooth, £2.00 for a Fosters. Dark Smooth has flavour, Foster's just doesn't, so it's no competition for me.

...not just you. Budweiser and Becks are awful. Fosters would be my beer of choice if I had to choose between those three. As you say, very easy to drink...but I tend to raise the bar a bit when it comes to drinking, and I am happy to spend just a little bit more to have a more satisfying beer.




Ultimately I probably have a cheaper night anyway as Tyskie runs at around 5,6% and four of them and I am anyones.
