I know/knew quite a few people who got engaged at young ages. I'm unaware of a single one that's actually got married yet though, and the vast majority have broken up with their fiancee.

A friend of a friend got engaged in less than two weeks of meeting someone. Have to admit I laughed hard when I heard about it. It's safe to say the relationship didn't stay stable for very long.
