I know of 3 other people applying for team leader at work, one has a good chance but I'm still quite confident. The other two just shouldn't have bothered, really the shifts would probably be a mix of 7-4, 10-6 and 2-10, and one of them had to change her shifts because she couldn't get a bus home after work if she finished at 6. She is also unbelievably lazy, but for some reason well like. I have no time for her. The other one is similar, she could get to work for any of those shifts, but complains about 6 hours being too long and has never worked a 10 o'clock finish in her life because she claims she can't get a bus home. She can, it would be the same one I would get if I didn't walk. It passes work at 10:55. The guy who has a good chance is well liked, but doesn't have the first clue how to do the job. Just those other two applying made me chuckle

Reading all the stuff I need to prepare for work on Monday. This is the first kitchen I've seen that doesn't allow no make up! You have to have a minimum of light foundation, neutral eye make up and tinted lip gloss or neutral lip stick. Apparently it's because it's a Pride of Britain hotel so a lot is based on appearances, but that's still mad to make chefs wear make up.

Exactly! It's annoying, I'd rather not wear foundation at work because you do get sweaty and it just makes me spotty and horrible. You're not meant to look sexy in a kitchen!

Isn't there sweatproof foundations? Not sure what would actually happen to your sweat though (i.e. where would it go?)

Try using a tinted moisturiser or a CC cream? Gosh do one that should be pale enough for you I think.
