I'm guessing it could involve having already drunk a bottle of vodka, then forgetting you'd drunk it.

...or deciding the shot you REALLY wanted to drink was the one right at the bottom of the bottle.

At which point I read

well yeah, but i wasnt planning to get drunk, i just lost track of how much i'd actually had. Its a pretty easy thing to do, especially when someone else is pouring them for you
