I was really surprised to see Mr Methane on the front page of YouTube. I thought he was a character The Macc Lads had made up for the video for their song "Mr Methane".

Probably the best and funniest cartoon intro ever from my childhood. The over the top single words like "DEFENDERS!" and "MANDRAKE!" make me die of laughter ever time.

The best bit by far though is when they clearly realised they'd come to the end of the allowed intro time and had only introduced 4 (albeit the main 4) of the Defenders, so instead of re-writing it to fit all 8 of them in they manage to justify the extra 4 by just shoving in the line "FOUR BECOME EIGHT!"

Totally neglects the sidekick's sidekicks as well, like that little alien thing. And wasn't there some sort of panther or cat? Or a monkey?

I am amused by categorising people into ven diagrams. Yes, I'm actually that analytical. Whoopdy-do.
