A mate of mine had someone try to chat her up in the following manner at a party last night:
"So, what's your favourite pokemon?"
"Charmander"
"Yeah I can tell by the hair [her hair is red], mine is Squirtle because it is what I would like to do all over your face"

Sorry Dan, I couldn't resistAnyway, articles by 'video game theorists' are hilarious to read. They reckon that because they're writing about games, they have to use really huge words to be taken seriously. So you get sentences like this:
"The kinaesthetic control over the acousmatisation and visualisation of sound objects in the game environment is a key factor in creating unique spatial experiences when playing computer games"
Mate, you're writing about the sounds in Metal Gear Solid 2. Lighten up.
