Probably NSFW as it's a bit sweary, and linked anyway because it's likely over the pixel limit:

From 10-11.30am this morning we had a beer, wine and cocktail tasting session. I ended up fine because I didn't consume any, but all the other bar staff were tipsy before lunch.

From Manilla Road's facebook

Image
"Neudi: Manilla Road talk about the concept of the new album which will be called "And thou shalt buy at Lidl". The band has teamed up with the famous European supermaket company after Hellfest 2013 and work together with their marketing boss Hans Dampfner. As Lidl´s appearance in Europe is really epic, the band has decided to make an album about their story which started during the French Revolution (Marie Antoinette´s last wish was in fact a box of waffles from Lidl). Also there are many similarities to Manilla Road´s past: Every morning they Open the Gates, the customers are like an Invasion, also it is a Mysterium how than can offer some of the products for such a small price. This unusual concept will go hand in hand with a new distribution system as the new CD will be only available at Lidl (next to the Braunschweiger Sausage and the salami). A vegetarian version (with one track less) can be found next to the vegetables (limited "fruit edition"). Also the CD will contain a coverversion, the first since "DOA": They have rewritten Hawkwind´s song "Needle Gun" which will be "Lidl Gun" on Manilla Road´s CD. The vinyl comes with a free Lidl-bag."

The ending of How I Met Your Mother.

No one expected it to be good, and everyone was only watching it out of habid, but Jesus... It's impressive it was that bad!

Couldn't be bothered to watch it so I read about the episode, but that's how I thought it might end.

I still don't see the uproar about the "lack of start menu" - I've never seen or had any issues with it. In fact I prefer being able to hit the windows key and start typing and boom I have a great set of search results (Unless my required item is on my favourite tiles)

That said most businesses are just moving to Windows 7 so it'll be a long time until Windows 8 is rolled out.

I've been using the start button my entire life.

I need that shit.

It is my rock in an ever changing technological world.

Some who complain about the start menu have a desktop with 200 icons on.

Remember that.
