Adding this friend of a friend with brilliantly sick humour on Facebook and they always take these dreamboaty posey filtered photos. In my head it just doesn't seem to match up and for some reason it fucking kills me

Had an interview for a fire safety management contract at a large concert venue - put a picture of Rammstien in the presentation with their flaming wings, don't think it went down well as one manager put his head in his hands and ranted about what a pain in the arse they are to deal with

Apparently the new UKIP leader Diane James has resigned after 18 days. Didn't even last as long as Sam Allardyce.

Just got reminded that after Destruction in Dublin the other night some old junkie with a nine bar of hash came up to us outside a pub and gave everyone a nub of it. Good timing as I wouldn't mind having some smokables for Pentagram on Tuesday, but more than anything I'm just glad my mates told me. I'd have forgotten all about it til it was found in my jacket at an airport or something otherwise!

New housemate hunt. More than ample notice this time so no panicking.

Some of the responses to the ads I've put up are hilarious/tragic.

My football hating dad went out for a quiet drink.

Good luck with that seeing as Liverpool were playing Man United and all the pubs that he goes to would've had the match on and been packed to the rafters.

I'd best not to be honest, I'll only sound like an arsehole  But in short there was some "non-binary" stuff and some creepy old dudes who'd ignored our preferred age range by some way who put on the whole "I come across a lot younger"...

That's amazing.

WMMLT: We got the cat an exercise wheel for £25 (usually £200+), it didn't come with grip pads, so the cat can't run properly on it yet. Instead, she tries to jump on top of it, which results in her frantically scrabbling at the outer sides of the wheel trying to climb up it, failing, then trying to look nonchalant, like she meant to end up on the floor.

We've got her running on it a few times using treats as an incentive, and the laser pointer as something to chase. If she gets up enough pace, then suddenly stops, she ends up riding half-way up the opposite direction. She always looks so confused when this happens.

When we get grip pads, and she locks her claws in to them, I can see her doing at least a 360 spin.
