I'm having one out tomorrow :( It's already broken in half so it's a full surgical extraction.
More implants which means drilling into the jaw.
Then I have to drive myself home from Coventry.
Not looking forward to it.

Oh I'm sorry, I dont want to freak you out.

Mine had broken in half too but I didn't get a surgical extraction. I got 30 minutes of the dentist trying to prise it out with various different tools shattering it into smaller and smaller pieces, ugh. My thoughts are with you. Are you going under?

Funnily enough, one of my wisdom teeth has started hurting again this week. Hope I don't have to have it out.
All right, so I MADE a mistake! ONE MISTAKE!
Can't a man start over?! Do I have to keep on PAYING?! HUH?!
Maybe I should make another mistake! ...maybe TWO more!

My wisdom teeth came through with no pain whatsoever, and now sit perfectly in my mouth.

No. I'm fortunate enough to have a fantastic dentist who specialises in dental implants and bone grafts- he was my 'normal' dentist before he got all famous and won awards etc. He's a really nice bloke and if he hurts me I'll blatt him and he knows it! Or I'll tell his receptionist some of the stories from his 'youth'.....
He's already done four of my teeth and apart from the injection into the roof of the mouth he's not hurt me at all.

Finger's crossed he doesn't blot his copy book tomorrow- I'd hate to have to knee cap him, he's 6'8 and 18 stone ;)

Yop. Though I've made up for that with countless fillings, extractions and a root canal. Tbh, the initial injection is what I look forward to the least.

Marvellous dentist was marvellous.
No surgery required despite the tooth having a broken root. It took twenty minutes to get it all out.
He did tell me I was a pain in the arse though- cheeky bastard.
I'm now feeling very sore but have managed some noms.
First stage of implant planned post Damnation.

Well, the day has come. My dad is on his way, well he should be in Dover by now. He's stopping the night in Gent. I have two more nights in my flat, then that's it. The trundle back to the UK, the 700 miles home begins. I intend to have my laptop packed up tonight, and the only internet ill get is at wifi hotspots. So ill stick around for today, but may not be back on until next Thurs where I shall then be in Crumpetsland.

Soon as I am home, going to go and buy some crumpets actually. Also some custard. That won't make up the same meal, however much I think it would totally work.

I hate dental injections, too. I don't know if I'm hyper sensitive, but they really, really hurt me.

Sooo I found a dentist that uses the wand-you can't even feel it and it anesthetises perfectly! No more freaking out about the dentist.

Glad it all went well!

Nathan Fillion played Caleb in Buffy.

I only just found out!

Caleb is like my second favourite Buffy villain.
