I've not used the service yet and the next time I need to use my passport is juuust before it expires, but for those of you who've recently renewed your passport: How quick was it?

Taking this advice. Mine expires in June and I am looking forward to not looking at me as a 19 year old on the passport photo. Looks awful.

Done gone sent it via the post office with Check & Send thingy. 5 weeks before my Glasgow flight. Fingers and toes crossed. Oh, and I don't have a provisional driving licence, before you ask.

I'm on a night where the other nurse is my old uni lecturer doing a 'bank' shift - putting me in charge by default. Bossing him around is going to be excruciating.

Doesn't get proper better 'til they put the clocks forward though. What I do love is that sudden first proper warm sunny day and everyone's suddenly real chipper. Doesn't tend to come til late April though. Still got Smarch weather at the mo.

That is definitely my favourite time of year. Summer is always a massive disappointment, but those few weeks April-May where everyone's all like "wtf, it's sunny!" are the best.
