Yeah, loads of sleep, loads of food including a fair bit of bread which would normally do well to absorb booze, I have no idea what happened inside my head. To be honest there were inevitably gonna be a few memories of the place, the 3.5 mile solitary stumbles home and seeing friends making out with ladyboys. Brother tells me one time he'd taken loadsa pills and shat himself so ran to the loos, wreaked havoc and had to discard his boxers by stuffing them behind the cistern Played my first gig there as well, my band's thing was gore/corpsepaint and I'd sheepishly done like one dollop of fake blood, which with my short hair made me look more like a mime.

Sorta shit you do when it's one of only three rock type venues in the area.

Here's a useless fact, Brian Blessed lives just up the road in Bagshot and drives a Peugeot.

It used to be way cheaper than that too. But to be fair, this year's line-up is easily the strongest it's ever been. And it's still miles cheaper than most other UK open air festivals.

There are some cracking bands on this year, there are also some shocking ones. Having said that it's half of the price and has more bands I want to see than any other UK festival I've seen, so it's all good
