Someone a couple of years my junior who used to have an obsessive crush on me is engaged. Yet another of the Blackburn youth with an unstable home/social life who has got to this point very early. Unfortunately a large percentage of the time it all ends in tears (from what I've seen at least).

I knew loads of people when I was 16/17/18 who got engaged. I don't think a single one of them is still together, it was almost trying to '1-up' from being just girlfriend and boyfriend. I don't think any of them had any intention to get married - plus the engagement rings used to be like the alchemy goth ones, not exactly ones you could wear for work years into the future

Been warned to stop the "banter" about a mate who isn't quick to give it back. My mates not the one arsed apparently it's other people who think I hate him. I don't, obviously, and he knows that I hope.

Going to have to watch myself and train my brain to think differently. He does a few things that annoy me and he knows what they are but I don't go round bitching to other people.
