That's more a realism/pessimism mix, being completely pessimistic would mean that even when something good happened, you'd think it was shit because you expected it to either not last or turn to shit. I just call myself a realist, acknowledge that stuff is likely to go wrong but still hold a small amount of hope that it could go well, and it doesn't make it any less awesome when it does go well :)

a week ago i had plenty of money, but i really fucked up and thought i get paid a week earlier than i do, so now i have nothing. i get paid 2 weeks from tomorrow :( i just gave my brother £30 thinking it would be fine for him to pay me back when he gets some money.

I wish I wasn't so funny about dogs. Our cleaner has (or looks after) this HUGE Alsatian. I mean, it's got a really nice fluffy coat and is gentle but I'm crap at gauging a dog's behaviour. That and I get it mixed up with the one that attacked me the other day.

I'm usually wary of dogs because I'm not sure how they're going to react to me

But today on my way to work this big shaggy coated mongrel looking thing ran up to me and I got to scratch it's head and be all "HELLO, HELLO, WHO'S A GOOD DOGGY" in my talking to pets voice.

It was awesome.
