If i had a road legal tank they'd have to disable the part that lets the turret move independently because i don't think i'd ever stop scaring the shit out of people by driving along and pointing it at shop windows.

I think the turret needs to be completely removed for it to be driven on the road probably because of the dimensions with it, but I am not too sure on that one.

I think the only stipulation is you fit rubber blocks to the track so they don't tear up the tarmac. You don't need the turret removed, they're lower than a lorry... might need it disabled so you can't swivel it around in the street though.

They need indicators for movement on roads in convoy. Not something that is really done much these days due to useable limits and costs of running them ( the Abbott is no longer in service anyway) but Ze Germans used to get upset if they didn't indicate whilst travelling down roads on exercise. Just because you are in an armoured box, doesn't mean you no longer have to signal your intent on manoeuvres.
