Last time I went to Camden we sat in Cubas drinking horrifically expensive but amazing Mojitos.

Ooh I'm pretty sure we went there once, I had a Kiwi Bellini and it was lush.

I remember they had lots of Mojitos I wanted to try too, but we didn't have time apparently. Pah.

Camden is ridiculously expensive for booze. When we went there before the Finntroll gig, after getting off the tube we went for a pint. One pint of not very strong cider was £3.80 I believe, even more expensive than festival prices :/ stupid.
Also Bellini, I think I know the shop you're talking about. If it's the one I'm thinking of, I went there when I first went to Camden aged 13 I think, there was a skirt I quite liked and the man in there tried to make me try it on, kept on bartering and wouldn't let me leave (he got two of his assistants to actually block the door), and when my brother came to the rescue he tried making him buy it for me. Luckily he's a lot more assertive than me and we managed to escape!

His assistants just sort of appeared from upstairs. Was very scary at the time. I haven't been in there since.

@ Amy, that sounds like a good day for sure. Next time we are at a gig there I'll make sure we leave more time and make it a challenge to try all the ones on the Mojito menu It's ashame they don't have a 2 for 1 happy hour.

Lol Camden. There's a metal shop (which I think is the one you're in) which I think is called Metal Militia that's next to loads of food stalls ("You wanna try chicken, is good chicken").

That. There is however a fantastic used CD shop on the main high-street that I've spent lots of money in. They always seem to have good albums or rare Wildhearts' singles, it's ridiculous.

I love that CD shop! My mate found a Michael Monroe album she'd been looking for for about a year in there and went mental with happiness right in the middle of the shop!

The shop with the greasy foreign guy and a couple of largish goth women? On the main road with 3 floors?

I went in somewhere like that, the bloke kept asking if I spoke Italian or Spanish and then kept asking what I wanted to buy and trying to make me buy things, they didn't understand the concept of 'just looking around'
