Well the hours are long (3 or 4 am til 6 or 7 pm) and it gets really tough doing it multiple days on the trot, particularly if you live outside Belfast. The Bolton shield and pike men have had it the worst in the past week because they have to stay in formation in ankle deep mud in between takes because of how long it takes to rank them up, and until yesterday they were getting used in every single shot. And bar about 3 or 4 of them who are getting used in a really badass CGI shot none of their faces will be on camera.

I lucked out by getting picked for prosthetics though. £304 for 32 hours over 2 days in which time I got used in 1 shot. I was literally getting paid to read and take naps the rest of the time.

Very cool indeed. Did you have your hair undercut like that for the part or was it already like that? It looks badass.

I'm a fairly recent GoT fan. Only 2 episodes left of S05 to watch having crashed through the first 4 seasons in just a couple of weeks.

Nah that's my normal hair. They had me in a wig because that hair isn't suited for an Umber. If I was living down south and doing extra work for Vikings instead it would be a different story!

I've only watched season 1 myself, but hopefully that means I'll have forgotten most of the spoilers I've seen and heard on set by the time I get to season 6!

Everything on the last two pages is cool as fuck. Also the prosthetic work fooled me too.

It's a bit of a sausage fest unfortunately. There are supposedly a few female wilding stunties but I didn't see them. Sansa was the only female on set I saw aside from crew members. She and Little Finger got their golf buggy stuck in the mud on Friday apparently and had to be rescued by some wildings.

Cosplay photos finally came back! Hopefully gonna get some edits done, in the mean time, enjoy my favourite shot.

It doesn't really count as recent, because it's from a loooong time ago. But someone recently dug up some listings for the radio station, back when I used to do the rock show. Brings back lots of memories.
