Hell In The Cell was fairly decent. I really enjoyed both tag matches, the divas title match and the US title match. Main event i'm still undecided on. I just hope WWE have a plan for Ryback after his bubble bursts or else all this build up they're giving him will be worthless.

I think WWE are using it as a way to make Ryback more credible in the main event by having him in a long term fued with Punk and potentially Lesnar in a match.

Think it was the best way for Punk to keep the title but for Ryback to stay credible as it wasn't exactly a clean loss - and undefeated streaks are a bit redundant, they aren't credible if they're all squash matches against crap oppositions - the only undefeated streak I can think of that was credible and not entirely against random jobbers is Samoa Joe's back when he started in TNA

I was actually quite disappointed, I thought HIAC was going to be amazing. I must say that Ryback was fantastic though, really surprised.

when you look at their options the end of the match was about as good as it could be. pretty much the only alternative was to use lesnar but they want to save him for the build to wrestlemania i think, especially now with the likelihood of undertaker missing it, they'll need to generate interest leading in.

What the heck is going on with Survivor Series? Is Punk not defending? Pretty lame teams really. I also wonder what Cena will be doing, it's only 3 weeks away, surely they need to bring a big name or something. There's no way i'd pay for it on the strength of that 10 man match being a main event.

Decided to start watching a bit more japanese wrestling, starting with NJPW King Of Pro Wrestling from last month. It's refreshing to not have to care about the storylines so I can just cut through to the matches. Quite a few of the gaijin I recognise from north american TV too like Low Ki, Alex Shelly and Alex Koslov (anyone else remember him from TNA?)

That reminds me, wasn't PAC from Dragon Gate due to be in the current season of NXT. Can't see him on NXT bit of the WWE website, but according to this site he wrestled at a live nxt event a couple of weeks back.

Saw PAC in action last year with Dragon Gate. He was awesome.

I wonder which of these moves WWE will let him keep:

the most interesting match tonight i think will be the number 1 contenders match. the best decision, i think from a business perspective and a fans perspective, is for storm to be pinned. AJ is long overdue a main event push as it is, and roode is too good to waste him in the mid card for a year. storm is no better than a mid carder anyway, despite tna's attempt to make him more he cant carry the company to where they need to be, though im 99% sure he'll win anyway.

Im really getting sick of james storm now. He's not good, he's ok in the ring but awful on the mic, a mid carder at best. And having him pin AJ was just a bad decision.

cm punks dvd is amazing. even if you're not a fan of punk, its just a great insight into the journey from backyard to indy to main eventing in wwe. cant recommend it enough.

Going to get round to that soon. It has some of his IWA Mid-South matches doesn't it?

It's a very good DVD.

Anyway, I'm getting pretty bored of WWE lately. It's become much more of an action soap opera in recent times and my interest is waning.

its a proper insight, which is what i liked about it. its him and others talking about his character and his career, but not in character.
