I actually really enjoyed Raw this week. Was groaning to myself when they announced the 6-man tag match, but then realised there wasn't a bad competitor in the bunch, and actually the match was one of the best 6-man tags we've had in ages.

I've got no annual leave left so I can't watch it live, and I'm not even disappointed.

El Hijo del Perro Aguayo died in a tag match in Tiajuana against Rey Misterio Jr. last night. There's a video that shows him in position for the 619 which Rey hits (missing over the top of the head as he does) and it's only when Aguayo doesn't sell and slumps down clearly unconscious that they notice and stop the match. The rest is sketchy but it's probable that he broke his neck on the drop toehold to the rope and died of head trauma afterwards.

It can cause cranial trauma. There's a more complete video doing the rounds and he seems to be shaky after taking a clean-looking three-quarter roll and then may have caught an upper vertebrae on the apron when Rey hurracarana'd him to the outside. Rey's dropkick to the head didn't look too stiff but that's what people seem to be pinpointing on. Really I think it's the fact Konnan was shaking him to try and waken him up that caused most of the damage. The medical staff didn't seem to realise it was a head/neck injury immediately either.

Still mightily unenthused about Mania, but may still go to the bar to watch it live as usual. It all depends on whether I get the last train home after the PWU show on Sunday or not. If I miss the train then the 20 quid taxi would be better spent on beer and pizza while watching Mania and then there's only a few hours to kill between 4am and the first train. Unless Shelton Benjamin's is in the PWU main event though and leaving for the train would mean missing that I'll be aiming for the last train.

Lesnar has resigned with wwe and ruled out a return to ufc. People have been reporting for a while now he wanted to go back but I never bought it, he has an awesome deal with wwe and no real reason to go back to UTC.

I've no emotional investment in the product at the moment at all so I don't care either way, but it would be hilarious if they u turn and Lesnar now squashes Reigns on Sunday and keeps the title for another while.

Lesnar could well beat reigns but the problem is then, again, who beats lesnar? He has to lose eventually. I'd like to see reigns win then Rollins cash in mitb but I can't see that happening. I still don't watch the weekly shows apart from NXT so I don't really care but I will be watching wrestlemania as always.

I'll be watching Wrestlemania the monday after work, but I don't even close to care enough about the product to stay up for the thing.

I'm keen to watch Mania live, but only because it starts at 9am Monday morning here.
Ideally I'd like to watch in a bar or something, but having no luck (likely due to the early start), so I may have to renew my subscription to the Network for the sake of the one event. I cancelled it a while ago as I don't think they have it in the UAE, and I'm going to be moving there for 6 weeks as of next week..
