This is all building to jericho being heel anyway, he'll berate the audience for being sheep etc , it'll be hilarious, but i love how the WWE audience have very short memories, he was a heel for years and left as one, why should he come back face

He is. I think Mike was referring to how well received Daniels is every time he returns, even if he left as a heel. Same story with Jericho, even if he's been a bad guy for most of his wrestling career he's infinitely popular because you have to respect how well he does it. It's inevitable then that if he is away for a long time he'll get huge amounts of pop on his return.

i might just stream it anyway. im working tomorrow so i wont have time to watch it if i wait and download it. that and i really dont want the rumble winner ruined for me.

problem is I don't want to be wrecked for first day of uni tomorrow, especially after 5 days solid on the lash. Plus, watching it with a group of lads and a few pleasure beers will be great. Going to be hoarse from shouting "5! 4! 3! 2! 1!! all night tomorrow

i already know i'll be up all night anyway, the last few days i've either not slept at all or slept for an hour or so in the afternoon however, the advantage is i can stay up to watch the rumble. im staying away from all rumours of surprise entrants, but one man i expect to see make and appearance is brock lesnar. i wont be surprised if he doesnt, not long since he retired from MMA, but i wont be surprise if he does cause they'll pay him a shitload for it. i think del rio will be back, and maybe christian, doubt if mysterio will be though. and of course, i think jericho is gonna win it, and if he doesnt he'll interfere in the WWE title match. or do both.

EDIT: there are also rumours that drew mcintyre is going to win. that or barrett would be incredible, but neither are going to happen

Not going to lie, it was quite disappointing, I'm glad 'he' won the Royal Rumble though, he's probably my favourite wrestler at the moment. But the undercard matches were quite lame.
