The Lexus feud, as stupidly booked as it has been at times, has moved Cena up quite a lot in my view. The 'free or fired' angle was stupid, stupid, stupid, badly written, bereft of thought and stupid. I'm just glad that Juan Cena didn't make it to TV. Knee pads are uncomfortable over long periods of time, so why would he wear ring gear to shows as a 'spectator'?

He's limited in the ring but does work to his strengths and makes sure he does the little things well. That a good worker makes. His selling winds me up though. A typical match will see him beaten up for 90% of it then out of nowhere come the five moves of doom and the finish with him showing no sign of the heat he's just taken.

The Free or Fired Angle was spectacularly written right up to the match.

The end was shit and despite Cena's awesome speech, they fucked it up by not keeping him off telly.

That leaving speech was one of the best in ring promos I have ever heard , and according to the online speculation the idea was originally to get Cena off air for a month, and bring him back slowly , with the feud ending at the Battle Royal PPV end of January, but they decided to ditch the story line early for some reason

AND I QUOTE (from WWI)

I would like someone to explain to me how Wade Barrett benefitted from this John Cena feud? Sure he got plenty of prime airtime on shows but can anyone honestly say that Barrett is in a better position now, after the Cena feud, then he was when Nexus debuted destroying the ring and everyone in it on RAW. For the entire negative backlash that HHH gets for "burying" people, Sheamus is definitely more over as a result of his feud with HHH than Barrett is from his feud with Cena.

Good point there.

Holy shit.

Mick Foley and Bischoff just cut a fucking amazing promo.

You should watch it yourself, but if you're not convinced enough to download this weeks impact, it ends with Bischoff screaming in Foley's face

"And now you're trying to be a hero, because you can't wrestle anymore, because no-one's buying your books (It's true, his latest one flunked hard), because no-ones going to your stand up routines. You know what you're doing? You're eating the dead. You're trying to live off of all the injured and dead wrestlers that were put that way because they were forced to keep up with you. And that's on your head. That's on your head. Hit my music"

That'd be pretty damn good.

Foley and Flair shouldn't really be wrestling, so they can do well as the voice for both groups. Plus both of them bust out spectacular promos.

Bout half way through this weeks Raw.

Good as always, except for Mark Henry squashing Tyson Kidd (Not unexpected) followed by his bodyguard (Unexpected).
Didn't get Kidd or this new guy over in any way.

Miz was cutting a promo "I'm better than" mentions people like Harley Race and Lou Thesz. When the "WHAT" followed from the crowd, for half the kids there it was probably a genuine question

EDIT: By good as always, I of course mean "good as recent" :P

Jackson Andrews looks like the lovechild of Kevin Nash and Eugene Tackleberry.

Watching Pick Your Poison. Jake "The Snake" Roberts documentary.

Holy fucking shit, no wonder this guy is fucked up. I'm 11 minutes in, he's described his childhood. It's the grimest thing I've heard for a while.
