I haven't watched wrestling in yonks

in the first 5 seconds of Takeover Respect they showed the Brooklyn show so I watched that.

It reminded me that women can be good at wrasslin if they're storylines aren't shite.

It also reminded me that Vaudevillains should be in Chikara.

And Steen + Prince Devitt are wonderful.

If the Vaudevillains ever get future endeavoured they would make a great King Of Trios entrant with Leva Bates/Blue Pants. It's just a shame Quack is retired, I'd love to have seen him in a one on one match with Simon Gotch. Aiden English vs Claudio Castagnoli in a CHIKARA ring would be great too.

You know you like wrestling too much when you're giving serious consideration to turning down sex because the PWG BOLA is finally online.

Watching takeover London, good show so far. The low point however is the absolute garbage women's match. Bayley hasn't had a good match since Sasha Banks, because bayley was never that good in the first place. Also the hype Bros are in a match... Ryder I can tolerate but Mojo Rawley? No he's terrible.

Bayley/Nia was great imo. Played the monster heel vs underdog face perfectly.

Plus I love Bayley which is somewhat clouding my judgement.

Most things were great, though Joe/Finn wasn't as good as I expected from those two.

Yeah women's title match was decent til a point. Bayley sold well, Nia looked strong when she was dominating and the can't knock her off her feet spots were done well. Pure Awesome Kong booking which is what Nia needs. I just think for the finish they should have had Nia try to power out of the choke but Bayley reverse it into a small package (the ultimate underdog finisher) or have Nia pass out. No sense in having her tap. Yeah it will be 6 months til she's ready to hold the title for real, but losing decisively by submission and assumably going on to lose to Asuka now is going to mean it will take much longer to build her up again.

What I'd do is have their first match end in a draw or a Jim Duggan Special, and building up to the rematch have them trying to outdo each other putting jobbers on the injured list. Give Nia some nasty concussion causing power bomb she does after the match and have Asuka break peoples arms Pentagon Jr. style. That way when Asuka wins the feud and challenges Bayley she can come in as a sadistic heel.

Very strong card over all. Crews and Corbin had a great finish but could've been better match. No complaints anywhere else though and the main event has been both Joe and Ferg's best match since joining the company.

Chikaras back in the UK next year, one super close and one decently close enough to justify.

Gonna be doing Newport and Birmingham

Recently got back into it cos it's got it's own network equivalent now. Forgot how jaded WWE had made me. Was lovely getting back into being behind the faces and hating the heels again.

Shame it's not a month later, the London date would've been the day after King Diamond.

Was at Takeover: London and really enjoyed it.

This weeks NXT with the new female number 1 contender just highlights how they need to ramp up some pushes to get the division to live up to the reputation it earned in 2015. Emma should be pushed up there and Peyton royce shows a lot of promise.

Asuka is being held off until their next Takeover I assume. Friday beofre Wrestlemania. Asuka wins title. Bayley debuts on Raw on the Monday to challenge the new "DIvas" champion Sasha Banks whom won the title at Wrestlemania.

With Styles, Gallows, Nakamura and Anderson seemingly on the verge of joining WWE it's kinda blown the result of tomorrow main event lol. Should be a great match anyways. Either way Jay Lethal vs Marc Haskins and Will Ospreay vs Marty Scurll on the card also.

Well up for it

You're a lucky man to have been there live. I've just watched that show and Scurll vs Ospreay may have actually been the best match ever in the UK.

Stupidly getting excited for the Rumble.

I know Reigns is gonna win.

I know they're gonna do Austin/Vince forever.

I still believe they'll be surprises, there has to be right?

I'm expecting at least a few of these;

-Bryan/Cesaro/Rollins returns
-HHH #30 entrant
-AJ debut
-Balor/Joe/Zayn main roster debuts
-Scott Hall/Jake Roberts surprise entries
-Wyatt Family score about half of all the eliminations between them
-The Social Rejects to attack someone on the way to the ring and replace them
-Kofi to get stretchered out and then get wheeled back in on a gurney by Big E. and Xavier 20 minutes later because he feet haven't touched the floor yet
-Maybe even Ambrose heel turn on Reigns
