On the subject of animal cruelty - made the mistake of watching that video of a policeman in america shooting a dog. The dog starts barking because its owner is getting arrested, so the policeman decides to shoot it four times, the sight of it writhing around on the floor is heartbreaking.

Still absolutely no need to shoot it though! And after the first shot it runs away, but he shoots it another three times just to ensure it dies!

Agreed, but I still think the owner should've made sure it was contained in the car first. If a rottweiler was running at me I'd probably do the same (the first shot, not the ones after that).

Plus if he'd let it bite him it would've been put down anyway.
