One of the few Saudis I would consider a good friend died last night and it was such a shock to find out the terrible news. He was young and fit and had a lust for life and a love for his work that was only rivaled by his love for his family.

Only finding out today that my cousin Lily in England had been sent home from school with a bug of some sort that had affected half the kids in her class and the teacher and was taken to hospital last night. My mum started with telling me "well you know the way she's been sick...", no I fucking don't. i don't know these things if you don't tell me.

Yeah, I guess it's just hit me a bit harder because I was already upset about not seeing them this christmas, it's just not the same without my little princess here
