i suppose its all my fault too. if i'd never have gone to york none of this would have happened. maybe. i dont even know any more.

You didn't know what would happen, nor can you help what has happened. If things aren't going to plan, what can you do to alter the plans?

Re: What's upset you?
My dad was diagnosed with cancer a couple of months ago, apaprently only a 5% chance of seeing out the year
scans have showed hes reacting to chemo better then thought and his cancers getting better but they still reckon he'll be an extremely lucky man to get over it completely which put a bit of a downer on that good news
but im all for been an optimist and all that jazz so trying to keep on top of things really

I'm really sorry to hear that. My grandad passed away in January from cancer - a similar situation to yours. I do know that the doctors and nurses will do their damned best to help him, and in this country we have some of the best treatments in the world. If he has the sligtest chance, they will do their damn best to help pull him through. My words won't mean much to him, but I really hope he pulls through.

Re: What's upset you?
well cheers for the support guys, i know if anyone can recover it's my dad, he's a tough bastard. Ex-Marine so he was made to get over all obstacles really. He's already managed to somehow practically get over MS about 10 years ago, he still suffers from it a bit, but it has little effect on him and i know he's not going to give up this time without a fight to the end too.
Re: What's upset you?
I seem to have lost my engagement ring. I'm too scared to tell Chris
P.S sorry to hear about your dad

That's got to be such an awful situation for you and your family to be in, but if your dad is responding better than expected to treatment that's got to count for something, right? And not giving up is probably the most important thing any of you can do
I'm a bit upset at the moment because I had to remind my dad twice about my birthday, and he still hasn't given me a present yet.

really sorry to hear that chris hope he pulls through.
Nightmare world
Reflected as a dream
Vision blurred
This surely cannot be
Twisted now
Far from reality
Delving into depths
Mankind’s depravity
