This entirely, living alone can be fun but just recently it's been starting to get me down in some ways. My social life isn't exactly hectic either which obviously isn't helping.

Also the total lack of anything in the way of women in my life is getting to me more and more along with the regret of fucking things up with someone who meant a lot to me.

Even when I had my own room with an en-suite in halls I still pooped with the door closed. The privacy makes it feel more intimate and it stops any potential odours escaping the bathroom. What do you know about it anyway? Girls don't poo.... or something.
I used to have a link to a social networking site here but these days you all probably already know who I am.

I'm pretty sure my family can only tell I'm pooping cos it's the only time I have the door closed when I'm on the loo.

I'm totally hot.

Living on your own means you can also have cats - cats are good :D (though not so good when they sit on your keyboard as you try to do work)

I always shut the loo door even when nobody's about.

Back at the folks, as the bathroom backs onto the kitchen, there's some law where there has to be at least 2 walls between the kitchen and the toilet, so the toilet's a room within the bathroom. As you can see the toilet all the way from the dining room, once or twice I've had an eyeful. Not good.

Pooping with the door open is fantastically freeing.

Living on your own has nothing to do with having cats! It's all dependant on the landlord and most of them aren't very welcoming to pets.

I feel like I've regressed 2-3 years in my life. I guess that's upset me.

Yeah, I kind of feel similar. I still feel like I'm trapped in adolescence.

Yeah, I feel like I'm back to square one again.

Lost my girl, lost the future I so wanted with her in Australia, lost all my money in the process... now I'm living back with my parents at the age of 26, in a town I hate surrounded by people with sad faces. Strung out on weed delving deeper and deeper into my overdraft every day. It's embarrassing!

It's normal to feel like that. I was the same when my shortlived marriage ended and I was in the adjustment period. It'll take a while to get back on track after all your plans for the future getting swept away and finances getting messed up, feeling like you're in the wrong, you've messed up and let people down when you haven't, but when things start to fall back into place again it just feels even better. It won't happen at once, but one thing at a time. Fortunately for me, I was able to move into a friend's room rather than to the other side of the country where my family are, but it's still hard adjusting and at 35 having the embarrassment of having to ask my family to borrow money, but you'll get there.
