Phoning your parents to ask about your grandparents' medical history is a really depressing thing to do. Saying that, the female members of my family have been generally free of nasty genetic ailments which is encouraging.

My sisters pet hamster is poorly, I have kept my cards close to my chest but I am expecting to bury it in the next few days. Looks finished, poor little bleeder. Sad for her, and of course us. Pets are one of the family with us. I don't like rodents very much and even I have grown fond of him!

Sitting keeping my father in law company while my mother in law goes out for 2 hours. My father in law has dementia and now has no concept of time so panics if left alone for more than 5 mins as he thinks it has been hours.

I have known him since 1987 when I started dating his daughter (now my wife) and it is brutal to see the decline in a man in his mid 70s.

Oh Moo

I saw an empty bottle of 3 Hammers cider in the street yesterday and was going to ask how you were doing because you hadn't been around in a while. I really should've done that earlier :(

Hope you're okay Moo. And just remember, no one in this world would be better off without you being here x

Great aunt's on her last legs and have been told to bear in mind she may pass soon before or after Xmas.

Despite thinking he was finished 2 weeks ago, Hamster died today. I don't like rodents that much but I am sad for my sister none the less and he was quite adorable for a half pint rat.

Great aunt's died. Real shame, I always liked her, was quite a chipper person for her age until she got ill, don't think I ever had an uncomfortable moment around her. I remember one point about 5-6 years ago she accidentally ran herself over and made it out of that surprisingly ok. Brain tumor really hit her for six though.

Don't think I'll be able to make her funeral unless it falls on a weekend that I'm free, definitely sending a card to her offspring regardless. They're pretty cool as well though I see them even less frequently.

Friend of ours died today. Appeared to be complications during heart surgery. She may have been in her 70's but she certainly didn't act it - This was a woman who was belly dancing, drummed for morris dancing and actually attended Bloodstock 2015. She will be missed

Realised it's three years since a friend of mine killed himself.

Looks like Christmas is going to be a morose one due to illnesses and death so I really hope these long-standing friends are back in the region so I've got at least something to look forward to.

Had some not nice human experiences yesterday, people being absolute cunts. All I've been able to do since then is cry. Dunno why it's affected me so badly.

I can't sleep these days. I'm in a phase where my dreams and nightmares feel so real I'm having trouble telling them apart from real life.
