I use Max Factor usually- although when I last had my brows done at Benefit she put some foundation on me that I really liked. Which I may investigate further when mine runs out- because I can't remember which she said it was.

Thanks for that :eyes:

Depends what the eye makeup is. Slapped on with a trowel, not great. Heavy but applied well, is good!

I use Mac and Clinique.
I have a Mac base thingy too, but Anti Chafe gel works just as well.
Though having said that I have pretty good skin anyway and can get away without wearing foundation, though I always feel I should do so if I'm getting myself done up. I don't think I'd put loads of make up around my eyes / busher on without foundation, would just feel odd.

Some people look silly with a lot of eye makeup on with no base, but far from all of them. Charley looks good in her makeup without the base, so she's a living proof that it works.

I've never bothered wearing foundation myself, mainly because I don't think it's good for the skin in the long run, and I prefer my skin rather than a layer of... err, that crap.

Awww thanks :) I used to wear foundation but I felt it made no difference what so ever.

Yarp, I just think it's a waste of money if a person's skin is fine as it is tbh.

I use MAC, but the amount I put on is miniscule, I mix it with my foundation to just even my skin out a bit. I'm prone to occasional random blotchyness which I hate. :(

These days I use concealer if I absolutely need it, but otherwise I don't wear much. I'm going to try to wear less make up in general from now on.

Has anyone had / got eye lash extensions?

After some wine at lunch I nearly took the plunge.

I'm not sure though. I have seen someone with them who has it look quite natural, but as though they are wearing a really good mascara (and have had a super amazing professional apply it).

Although the majority I see tend to go for the spider clumpy as fuck horrid ones.

I'm worried I'll end up with those sorts.

Any thoughts.

The person who has them is a friend of a friend (of a friend?), so I cannot ask her about hers.

My brother's fiance has them and also does them on other people
In all honesty, the ones she has, I couldn't even tell, she just looked like she was wearing mascara. She was trying to bribe me into getting them but I wasn't sure I wanted her playing around near my eyes haha

Thanks for the info :)

I'm still not sure, I want them to look better, but natural. At the same time I don't know if I can justify paying for something that won't make much difference to a good mascara.

I don't want them too OTT as those tend to be the ones like spider legs.

Basically I'm fussy and I think the process might be a bit intense - I hate people going near my eyes and I always fidget around

I'd just buy a good mascara. I don't know if you could get better ones than my brother's fiance has, but I only knew she had them when she told me. Which is good if you want them natural looking I suppose, but I'm guessing it costs a fair bit (I'd get it free if I had it done, so I don't know how much it usually costs)

There's no point to them, they just drop out after a week. You might as well just get a few pairs of good quality false lashes and look after those as you'd probably get more wear out of them.

I wear so much make up that this isn't even my real face. Cookie's never seen my actual skin.
If it sounds good, listen to it
