What's your budget? Limb clothing do absolutely divine 50s style dresses in amazing prints if you've got a bit more to splash out, if not, Sirens and Starlets on ebay (http://stores.ebay.co.uk/sirensandstarlets) are cheaper and have some lovely dresses.

Limb's dresses are incredible! Alas, I have not the cash. :(

I saw that store on eBay, there is some nice stuff there, I might relent and look for a dress that isn't a pastel colour, seeing as they really don't exist.

Thanks for the links!

Vivien of Holloway and Tara Starlet also do fifties style stuff if that's what you're looking for. Dollydagger has a few dresses too.

It's not mega 50s but pretty and suitable for dancing in all night.

Ah, just found that one on Monsoon. A wee bit pricey I think. :(

Thanks for all the suggestions, guys, I really appreciate it. I have found the dress that perfectly matches the image I have in my head, but it's vintage, and is about 6" too small! Pooooo. I'm so close to just going out and buying a fuckload of fabric and making it myself.

This is pretty much what I've been looking for:

It was only an idea to get a second dress, my mum suggested I get one to mirror Lorraine in the film. Ah well.

I feel like all my organs are about to fall out. So. Much. Pain. God fucking damn you reproductive system. I would love to be able to just put it in a jar until I want to use it, and not go through this bullshit every month.

Yeah, my brother suggested... Something. But I can't remember what though... Damn. I think I'll have to when I'm back in Wales... Ibuprofen has stopped doing anything, it's taking the piss a bit.

Buscopan. It's an anti-spasmodic so should help by dealing with the crampiness. Also hot water bottle.

I do feel for you,it really is awfull.Got given some tablets from the doc but don`t do much and another to cut down on the bleeding, just seems to give me another pain to deal with  Grrrrs. And it seems to get worse with age as well. Also,I wish I could take my boobs off as well, they sodding well hurt too :( I may try those other pain killers, the one with the ad when the woman catapults her bloke out the window.
Am also thinking mother nature is waiting till next week to spring her monthly treat on me.

I'm in love with this dress

I finally decided to take the plunge and buy it, an they no longer have my size in stock (its been reduced so I seriously doubt they will get anymore back in ).

Has anyone seen anything similar? I'm not bothered about the colours being the same, or all different, I guess I'm after a V neck dress, in a pale material with the black lace detail.

I'll keep an eye out for ya!

I've pledged that I am not going to buy any clothes this summer holidays :eyes:
Having 6 weeks off is great but you end up going out and buying stuff all the time.
I do not need any more clothes.
