England played pretty convincing the second half. First half was peck.

Poor Sweden though. Winning against the frogs for it to amount to fuck all. Bring on those Itie cunts. Time we dispensed with a world champion. Please let it happen with those arseholes.

You just know that at some point England will be involved in a penalty shootout.

If it comes to it, who would be in your five and in what order?

Mine would be.

Rooney
Baines
Gerrard
Young
Cole

Italy are shite, and Balotelli is massively hugely overrated. I can picture people in 7 years saying "oh he's only 28, he'll mature into a world class player and sort his temperament out!!!!"

Plus, anyone can score against Ireland at any time. I don't think he should be a City player any more either.

It's like the old Euro '96 joke.

What's the fastest way out of Wembley?

The Southgate.

didn't see all of it, but if Portugal can only score one against Czech, then what are they going to do against Spain in the next round?

the finishing from Portugal (apart from a few Ronaldo shots) was absolutely shocking tonight, so many flying high over the crossbar and not even troubling Cech ... can see a 2:0 / 3:0 battering by Spain in the semi's, assuming for no major upset against France
