Happy with that result today.
Although it's a worrying trend that our last three matches against them have ended 5-0, 4-0 & 3-0. If this continues, we'll only win 2-0 at home later in the season. :(

Didn't watch the game, so don't really have any comments.

Though tbh, 3-0 is better than I expected.

Only the 5th competitive match with the new managers system, and there's still defensive frailties. Hopefully the new 6'5 lad will sort it out.

Hope so for your sake because it really wasn't that competitive today. One shot on target during 90 minutes isn't even remotely good enough. And I know, because we've been there ourselves.

VERY happy with the point this afternoon.

2 points from our first three games aint bad. I was very much expecting
us to be on a big fat 0.
If we can nick the odd point here and there against the big boys we might be alright
providing we can beat the teams around us, which at the moment I think we have a chance of doing. Gonna be a long road.

Pleased with our performances too.
Ulloa is proving to be money well spent. Was impressed with him last season.

I'm reading the spurs subreddit, and saw this nice little post

"However what we don't have is a system or identity of how the team plays and this can only really come from stability. That's how a team becomes more than the sum of it's parts, the best example being Fergie's last season.

Today was a great example of this. Today was Brendan Rodgers 100th game in charge. He was appointed 1 month before we appoint AVB. In that time we're up to our 3rd manager. Liverpool now have a clear attacking brand of football which is helping them bring in new players to fit in rather then re-build their approach.

I have every faith that Poch can get the best out of this squad like Brendan has at Liverpool, but we have to remember Brendan finished 7th in his first season and got a few hammerings whilst implementing his system."

The problem is I read the internet, so all I see is people shitting themselves about the whole thing.

Give Pochettino time and he could be the best manager you've had for ages.

Spurs appear to be channelling Chelsea on managers lately so unless he maintains the same standard he's set over the last few weeks he shouldn't expect to be safe...matter of fact Spurs will likely be exactly where their squad can get them (5th-6th) and he'd still face the axe.

I'm a bit pissed off with these international matches just as the season is starting to get going. They get going and then there's a two week break. Then five games in two weeks.

Pointless friendly and a poorly timed Qualifier.

Reading some figures relating to the Falcao's loan to ManYoo.
Silly money.
Gonna cost 'em £24 million: £6m for the loan and £18m in wages.
replacing RVP and/or Rooney even before Arsenal have?

The world has officially gone mad

Welbeck going to Arsenal? That's a strange one if it happens.

If either one if being replaced it's Rooney, Van Persie's work for the national team should see him safe...unless Van Gaal simply pushes Rooney back to Attacking Midfield again and hence displaces Mata. I was of the impression the loan was £20m plus the wages?

£!6m eh? For that money i'd have thought Arsenal could have got a player who's better at getting a goal or two.

Football's gone crazy over the past few weeks. £16m for a terrible player, while an excellent player (Remy) goes for half that to a club who won't even play him. £60m and £20m loan fee for two world class players going to a mid table club? I think its safe to say United got the better player today, but something really needs to be done about the crazy money that's being shelled out recently. Its silly.

And yes, the internationals are poorly timed and silly. Always have been. Who cares about them anyway (although I might be saying that because I'm Welsh)?

New French lad has been watching us for years apparently. That's encouraging.

Just hate this fucking international break shit.
