They broke FFP the 2013/2014 season when they got promoted to the Prem, they were given a huge fine but as they got promoted they couldn't be forced to pay it (the Prem is separate from the Football League). However they were to be banned from the football league if they were relegated from the Prem if they didn't pay the fine; haven't heard anything about them paying the fine so..

Ah, I knew they'd broken FFP, didn't know they were threatened to be kicked out. Even if they haven't paid, I doubt the Football League would have the balls to send them to the conference, just like they wouldn't have the balls to relegate Man City when they break the rules.

Apparently it's all to be settled with an £8 million fine.

Yep.

Various fiddles and dubious issues totalling 58 million and possible points deduction.

They got promoted though (arguably by cheating the system) so apparently teh Football League couldn't do anything whilst they were in the FA run Premiership.

Now they got relegated there's 58 million to sort out.

Bearing in mind 3 years worth of parachute payments the first of which is a suggest 30 million giving them an 8 million quid fine is like a slap on the wrists and letting them carry on.

It's a Joke. I'm a Leeds fan and our boss, although clearly dodgy, gets rumbled every few months for completely un-football related things. Where is the consistency?

Luton, Bournemouth (imagine they're not too worried about it anymore) and countless others.

To be fair I'm not sure exactly how Cellino is allowed any involvement whatsoever, dubious fucker that he is.

I think I'd quite happily trade Cellino for Venky's. Absolute shambles at the moment and the bull with the transfer embargo is helping pull us down to what I can only imagine will be relegation. And QPR get off with a tiny fine. What a joke.

We're enjoying the best times arguably in our history, certainly in the 23 seasons I've been going to matches for.

Alas it doesn't seem to matter how well we are doing, we seem destined to sell our best players every time someone asks for them.

So the now seemingly annual "wait and see" in terms of who we sign as replacements and how they do occurs.

First time I can remember that Blues, Vile, Yamyams, Wolves and Walsall are all playing at home. Hope you all got your visits to Birmingham out of the way because the town will be a smouldering mountain of ashes tomorrow.
