If it sounds good, listen to it

We're guessing you're going to the festival.
Fancy meeting up to discuss it?????
There is no need to get so agitated. It's a harmless joke. You may have noticed the internet is full of them. I've taken it down, haven't I?
I am merely explaining to you why I put it up initially. That is what you were asking wasn't it? I was just being honest.

Funny how tasteless jokes only cross the line once someone who's been affected shows up.

Hang on. You were asking him to remove his signature on the grounds that it would be offensive to someone who had been raped, should they see it. You then go show your wife, presumably offended. If you of all people cared about her feelings that much, why did you go show it to her? You cared about making a point more than someone's feelings (if you actually did show her, that is).
Not trying to aggravate the situation, it's just that it's like being back at school all over again, when you say something offhand about a person then someone goes "omg that's mean I'm gonna tell them that you said it!" as if feelings come second to getting you in trouble.

Guys to put it bluntly keep it to PMs this whole debaucle could have been sorted without messing up a thread with a completely unrelated tangent. Don't want to see this thread which is fairly active and which somehow on this forum stays on topic get locked.

Funny how many tasteless jokes get written by keyboard warriors who would NEVER say these things face to face.

Paraguay/Japan yes, Spain/Portugal marginally less so.

Pretty much, though I was catching up with friends during the second half of Spain - Portugal so I wasn't really paying attention.
And even the penalty shootout was dull in the Paraquay match .

Agreed, but i don't stick on the internet with the defence of anonymity that it affords.
