Good man, Non-league is where it's at

Well done Scotland, celebrate well. You've beaten a team of plumbers.

Houllier's got Premiership experience (coming second behind Arsenal and ahead of Man Utd in '01/'02) and has won the FA Cup, League Cup and UEFA Cup. Knowledge and experience is vital and he has it.
Laugh all you like but Villa will finish top 6 this season.

The team houllier built won the champions league, so let's not be hasty about him. He went a bit... Weird towards the end of his tenure, but yeah.

Although GH can take a massive amount of credit for assembling the team, it was the addition of Alonso and Garcia plus an entirely fresh managerial approach which helped improve the team so much.
Houllier, just like Rafa at the end, had spent loads of money buying the tools but didn't really know how to use them.

Houllier will have plenty of tools to work with at Villa.
