Or not.
It seems Blackpool have refused his transfer request.

Bout fucking time!

I hope McEachran develops into something big, he's showing a lot of promise and he's only 17.

I'm really in two minds over this tbh. On the one hand I won't miss him at all and, depending on who he's replaced with, I'll probably enjoy watching the footy on Sky Sports more now but on the other it wasn't really worth sacking him over was it? I'm fairly sure one of the team even made a similar joke about women not knowing the offside rule on-air, might have been Jamie Redknapp but I can't quite remember...

Would've been lovely if they sacked redknapp the man knows fuck all. Im also in two mins over gray as he used to be a good analyst before he started changing the offside rule to suit teams he likes  but its really not worth sacking over especially as Keys got away with a apology.

There must've been another reason along with his comments that made them sack him. Good though, He's an absolute moron and i won't miss hearing his ridiculous comments which favour big teams.

how did keys get away with it and gray didnt wtf

was harsh what they said, but i dont get the whole women as assistants and shit considering they cant play on the pitch with the men, seems a bit of a half hearted way of not trying to be sexist, which we all know football is.

What a massive fucking overreaction by Sky.
I liked the guy. I met him at Download in '05 and he was a top bloke. Pissed on red wine, but a top bloke who was there to see Sabbath.

For ages, I thought he was biased towards Man Utd, but as Arsenal won the title and then, later, Chelsea, it became apparent that he was just biased towards winners.
Sure, he wasn't to everyone's tase but Sunday afternoons won't be quite the same without him.

His comments were daft but they were off-air and to people of his age and experience, hardly controversial. A fine, a months suspension and an apology should have been sufficient punishment.

And sorry for possibly showing my sexist side here, but the other scapegoat incidents were just cases of Andy Gray guilty of being a bloke. If I'd been punished the amount of times I'd said "Nah, I wouldn't" about someone or made a suggestive comment then they'd have thrown away the key years ago.

Totally agree mate!

Although Apparently he was sacked due to that incident, and this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lCBxW-nUPus

Still can't help but think he was just having a laugh, and the sacking does seem a little OTT. However if he is stupid enough to come out with remarks like that, then I've no sympathy for him. We all know that the world's going mad with what you can and can't say.
