Still can't help but think he was just having a laugh, and the sacking does seem a little OTT. However if he is stupid enough to come out with remarks like that, then I've no sympathy for him. We all know that the world's going mad with what you can and can't say.

not that bad if you ask me though she didnt seem amused

No it wasn't, just a bit of harmless banter imo. She did have a face like thunder after he said it!

Sky might aswell just employ robots.
No occasional lapses into normal human behaviour that way.

Redknapp>>>>>Shearer.
Have you heard His Alanship on MOTD? Have a drink any time he says the word "sensational" and you'll be pissed after half an hour.

RIP Andy Gray.

Aye I have. I can't say I'm his biggest fan on it either! I generally avoid Match of the Day (Not just because of AS though), and just watch all the goals from the weekends footy on the web.

Coming to think of it, I don't like a lot of the 'experts' (and I use that term lightly) on the TV. However, Jeff Stelling is a god!

While I have no sympathy for Andy Gray, he has basically been thrown under the bus because he is suing the News of the World over the phone hacking business, which the dark lord Murdoch himself can't be too happy about. Don't get me wrong, he was totally stupid to say those things when he did, but it handed Murdoch and his minions an opportunity to dispense with him on a plate. He may as well stuck a bow on it. This is why more footage of him making sexist remarks is being released, while much less is being said about Paul Keys, who looks like just barely keeping his job though smelling of the brown stuff. It hasn't occurred to anyone that Sky have had the other footage of Gray making sexist remarks for a while and haven't done anything with it. It also helps BSkyB give the impression that it takes prejudice and discrimination in it's ranks seriously.
